la coupe

During the summer of 2016, peachlab members carried out their first urban intervention. A walk through the city of Brussels. The cut being the most direct way to connect two high points of the Zenne valley.

The walk started at the Cité Modèle in Laeken and the end was programmed to be in the highest point of Brussels, the iconic Palais de Justice (the courthouse).

This sectional cut through the city would allow juxtaposing, in a short period of time, heterogeneous neighborhoods, environments and spaces, to a walking rhythm.

This peachlab constituent exercise was reinterpreted two years later as the first act of the workshop that peachlab carried out at the la cambre horta faculty of architecture: WOW! WHAT!? WHY?
